Two-Factor Authentication

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds a critical second layer of protection. When enabled, you’ll need both your password and a unique code from your mobile device to log in.

Why Enable 2FA?

Even if your password is stolen, 2FA prevents unauthorized users from accessing your account because they won’t have the secondary verification code. This is especially important for protecting:

  • Commercial Sound Packs and Payouts.
  • Private collaboration projects.
  • Personal cloud storage.

Setting Up 2FA

  1. Navigate to the Two-factor authentication tab.
  2. Review the information box explaining the benefits.
  3. Click the Configure button to begin the setup process.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to link your account to a mobile authenticator app (like Google Authenticator or Authy).
Note
Once configured, you will be prompted for your 2FA code every time you log in from a new or untrusted device.
