Managing Files

From uploading raw recordings to finalizing your mixdowns, the My Files interface provides professional-grade tools for managing your audio assets.

The Upload Process

Bring your local files into the Kemaan Studio cloud with ease:

1. Click the Upload button or drag files directly into the My Files browser.
2. The Upload Files modal will appear.
3. Click to upload and select your files.
   • Max File Size: 20MB per individual file.
   • Supported Formats: WAV, AIFF, MP3, and MIDI.
4. Click Upload to start the transfer.

Performing Actions on Files

Every file and folder in your library features a comprehensive context menu (accessed via the … icon):

• Play: Audition the file instantly with the dashboard’s integrated player.
• Studio: Open the file as an audio track in the Kemaan Studio Studio.
• Download: Export the file back to your local machine for use in other software.
• Rename: Change the file name to keep your library searchable.
• Move to Folder: Reorganize your file hierarchy by selecting a new destination directory.
• Details: View technical specs like sample rate, bitrate, and modification dates.
• Delete: Move the item to the Trash.
