Delete Pack

The Delete Pack action allows you to safely remove sound packs from your active library. Kemaan Studio uses a Trash system to prevent accidental data loss.

The Deletion Process

  1. Move to Trash:

    • Locate the pack in My Packs.
    • Click the menu icon (three dots) and select Delete Pack.
    • Confirm the move in the prompt. your pack will be moved to the Trash section of the Assets & Library.

  2. In the Trash:

    • Items in the Trash do not appear in the public library or your active Studio browser.
    • You can Restore a pack from the Trash at any time within 30 days.

  3. Permanent Deletion:

    • To free up account storage immediately, you can navigate to the Trash and select Delete Permanently.
    • After 30 days, items in the Trash are automatically and permanently removed.
Warning
Once a pack is permanently deleted (manually or after 30 days), it cannot be recovered. Make sure you have local backups if necessary.

Deleting Drafts

If your pack is still in Draft or Under Review status:

  • Permanent Removal: Deleting the pack will immediately and permanently remove all associated files and metadata from our servers.
  • Storage Recovery: The space taken up by the draft will be instantly credited back to your account’s storage quota.

Deleting Published Packs

If your pack is already Published:

  • Availability: Deleting the pack moves it to the Trash, making it invisible to new users.
  • Existing Users: Creators who have already added your pack to their library will retain access to ensure their productions remain functional.
  • Revenue: You will stop earning revenue from new purchases of the pack once it is deleted.
